I was grateful for the stability she had in her grandmother’s home, even though it wasn’t an ideal situation and I longed to raise her myself. And I’m grateful to God who gives us grace and mercy, and taught us how to be forgiving because He first forgave us when he send his son Jesus to carry our sins and die on the cross in my place.
I look forward to the day when I can retire and see Karen, Gary and my grandchildren more often. Right now we are several states apart, but I want Karen to know that as much as I love my grands, my love for her is so much more! Karen, you are always in my heart – Love, Mom <3
